Adam Malinowski - Jamit Software
Formed in
Sydney, Australia in 1999 with only a single purpose to produce educational software. Using Java technology, which was then considered as a bleeding-edge technology, our first product - Jamit Fractions - was born at the end
of 1999. It was one of the first educational software packages that was truly web-based, and could be accessed anywhere at anytime, online; using just a simple web browser. Although the term 'E-Learning' was not in wide use at the time, Jamit Software was one of the first companies that saw the potential in web based 'E-Learning'.
As our company moved forward, we began to expand into providing more services. Between 2000 and 2003, Jamit Software began providing services to other companies. During this time, we lent our expertise in Enterprise Java and PHP programming to various companies in Australia, including those in the recruitment industry.
As a new direction resulting from our previous experience, 2004 saw the birth of our most ambitious project yet - the Jamit Job Board. The job board went on to be our flagship product.
Moving forward to today, Jamit Software powers hundreds of job boards around the world, and we hope to power many thousands more in the years to come! Version 3 of our job board is the result of many years of work, thousands of hours of programming, uncountable hours of testing, and of course hundreds of customers providing us their feedback.
Today, Jamit Software is an international business with offices in Sydney, Australia and Hong Kong. The company is privately funded without any debt and limited by shares. As of February 2008, our Job Board software is trusted by over 400 webmasters world-wide.
